Assembly Technician - Extruding

HCG is looking for Assembly Technicians to work in our Extruding Work Center! We are looking for individuals with extruding experience to join our team!

Overview

Working as a Production Technician provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technologies and precision-driven products. Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and finish manufactured items to work order instructions and/or drawings
• Cross-train personnel and receive cross-training to improve ongoing efficiency and business continuity
• Ensure work environment remains clean and orderly
• Power down unattended equipment each evening or when operator leaves workstation
• Monitor Laser Cutter, Laser Welder, and Stamping Machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, utilizing precision measurement instruments
• Routine Quality Control inspection and documentation throughout the production process
• De-burr and clean parts to specifications
• Clean and maintain equipment, tooling and parts to maintain equipment for optimal production
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by your supervisor

Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively execute the above listed requirements
• Able to follow written and verbal directions
• Able to work under microscope for extended periods of time
• Able to understand and operate manufacturing equipment properly
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of quality management system requirements
• Able to read and write English
• Possess basic hand tool knowledge
• Possess mechanical aptitude and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Interpret prints and work instructions
• The ability to accurately measure parts for Quality Control
• The ability to work independently and with focus
