Production Lead

HCG, the world's first precision manufacturer of flexible and rigid endoscopy replacement parts, is a rapidly growing medical device company. This growth has driven our team to seek out additional associates to further our dominance in this arena. Our focus is to manufacture the finest components in the repair of medical devices used in the field of endoscopy.

We are currently looking for a working Production Lead, at a range of $20-23/hour

The ideal candidate will lead and work within their assigned work center, both producing and providing support to the work center team. We are looking to increase our capacity in the following work centers:

Assembly Technicians – Create complicated assemblies from other assemblies and parts using glue, solder, braze and other materials and quality check.

Braiding Operators – Run a mechanical braider to weave wire into medical grade mesh.

Extrusion Operators – Run and maintain an extruder to coat parts, while monitoring and testing the quality of the part.

Screen Printing Operators – Run and troubleshoot a screen printer to label and mark medical components.

Spray Coating Operators – Run and troubleshoot a spray coating booth to paint and coat medical components.

Responsibilities:

• Identify issues, problems, and solutions in areas of safety, quality, and production
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by leading by example and assisting supervisor in monitoring the use of all control points, equipment, and resources
• Adheres to, trains and helps to enforce compliance to GMP, ISO, Environmental, Health and Safety procedures
• Able to work with support groups Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality
• Teaches, guides, overseas, and organizes employees to complete the preparation of production units
• Oversees the day –to-day functions of their assigned work center by providing guidance and direction
• Assists in the preparation and organization of employee work schedules
• Coordinates efforts with planning, engineering and quality to complete products in a timely manner
• Maintains an adequate supply of tools and hardware supplies, as need
• Assists supervisor/manager in the production planning of their assigned work center

Skills and Experience:

• General understanding of a production environment
• Can manage a team in a fast-paced production environment
• Demonstrated consistency in meeting or exceeding production goals
• Basic understanding of medical device production, a plus
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in leading a team of operators and reporting to a supervisor/manager
