Production Technician - Medical Device

HCG, located in Maryland Heights Mo. is currently looking for experienced Production Technicians in the field of medical device assembly. We are looking for production minded individuals with the ability to assembly small parts with precision. Responsibilities will include precision assembly, intricate bonding, microscopic soldering and brazing, and laser welding.

Duties and responsibilities

• Build product not offered by any other competitor in the world

• Learn skills and become valued team member for the global leader in our field

• Prepare, assemble, and finish endoscope parts according to SOP's and work instructions
• Help create and execute a medical device production process to reach Key Performance Metrics and Capacity requirements for the company
• Cross-train personnel and receive cross-training to improve ongoing efficiency and business continuity
• Ensure work environment remains clean and orderly
• Perform routine Quality Control inspection and documentation throughout the production process
• Clean and maintain equipment, tooling and parts to maintain equipment for optimal production
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by your supervisor

Qualifications

• Able to follow written and verbal directions
• Able to work under microscope for extended periods of time
• Able to work effectively with small and sensitive parts
• Able to understand and operate manufacturing equipment properly
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of quality management system requirements
• Able to read and write English
• Possess basic hand tool knowledge
• Possess mechanical aptitude and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Interpret prints and work instructions
• Able to accurately measure parts for Quality Control
• Able to work independently and with focus
