SUMMARY OF PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Warehouse Manager supports the Director of Global Supply Chain with the day-to-day management of the warehouse operation, customer order fulfilment functions and associated processes and procedures. This role supplies a first-class service both internally, to all areas of business and externally to customers and suppliers, and develops and maintains a clear scalable logistics strategy to support the growth of Healthcare Components Group.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Manage Production planning for all internal production, creation of work orders, and work order completions. Running MRP for internal production.
  • Overseeing receiving, warehousing, production, and distribution operations.
  • Develops and implements effective warehouse layout that accounts for product flow, equipment, and product handling systems.
  • Manage Inventory, daily cycle count program.
  • Manages, directs and implements operations' strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of divisions goal.
  • Work closely with management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems to follow through with implementation.
  • Support of internal quality management system; adheres to good quality practices; performs continuous improvement to system; fully supporting and maintaining ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Manage staff Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
  • Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner levels, wages, hour. Recruit, select, train, assign, coach and counsel, and discipline employees.


EXPERIENCE/SKILL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in relevant business or scientific discipline, or a bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years of related experience
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to address and resolve issues in a positive manner.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office products, document control systems and quality management tools.
  • Ability to work without being distracted by internal or external influences to effectively execute the above-listed duties and responsibilities.

The job is performed at our facility located in Simi Valley, CA.in a climate controlled non-smoking environment. It requires a person to work a standard day consistent with exempt employee expectations, where occasional extra effort may be needed to support the organization's needs.
